Ever think about where you should study next? After many late nights, filled with p-sets and BCC deliverables, I have the list for you to make studying ~aesthetic~ and ~fun~. By the end of it, you’ll feel as productive as the lofi beats girl (who canonically goes to Brown!).
Rhode Island Hall (2nd floor)
Reading a book is ten times more fun when you’re surrounded by wood-paneled shelves full of them. You can’t get better than Rhode Island Hall, the archaeology department building, for a scholarly, studious, intellectual study session. When you’ve finished that reading for class, you can take a loop around the building and peruse the amazing archaeological artifacts they have on display, and learn more about the history of the department.

Ceremony Tea
Want a bev while you study? Ceremony Tea has you covered. Their Asian-inspired beverages will provide the fuel while you tackle that essay, and their chic interior design is both comforting and sleek. I recommend the Brown Sugar Latte for an extra cozy vibe!

SciLi Stacks (12th and 13th floor)
If that p-set is due tonight and you only have one of six problems done, the SciLi stacks are the vibe. They’re nice and quiet for you to concentrate, and the minimalist desks and walls are perfect for deep focus. Don’t forget to have a stretch break every once in a while and take in the gorgeous view of Providence from above! And when you’re done, treat yourself to some boba from Kung Fu Tea, which is right next door.

Providence Athenaeum
Okay, I’m not sure if this counts as on campus or not, but it’s just a block away from the Rock and the Hay, so if you’re headed to either of those, you might as well check out the Athenaeum. It’s a breathtaking library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, marble statues, and the comforting smell of old books (I once saw an actual wedding in there). There aren’t that many desks for work, but if you manage to snag one, you’re in for a treat.

Rock Stacks (3rd and 4th floor)
No matter what work you need to get done, the Rock always has your back. If you’re a quiet studier, head up to the stacks! If you’re lucky enough to be studying until the sunset (depending on how you view it), you can catch a beautiful view of the city from the windows on the west side.
